Megan brings to the board over twelve years’ worth of professional experience in Marketing Strategy and Advertising for small local brands all the way through global corporations, including non-profits and large healthcare systems. Her experience spans traditional and digital mediums allowing her to provide comprehensive marketing and business strategy consultation. Megan currently works for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products as a Customer Engagement Manager in Planning.

Megan studied Art Education at Indiana University’s Indianapolis campus, where she and her husband are originally from. They have lived in Michigan and Colorado but recently relocated to Florida with their two children.

 While not developing marketing plans for Disney or spending time with her family and friends, Megan passionately pursues knowledge and projects to support mental health and social justice initiatives, particularly those for marginalized groups. 

 

Sara Dreier

Secretary

Sara specializes in Marketing Strategy and Business Development. Years of experience in the healthcare realm has further developed Sara's skills in public and community relations, event coordination, and community outreach. Sara engages in public speaking, facilitating support groups, as well as fundraising and advocacy for prevention and improved access to treatment in the Central Florida Community and beyond. In addition, Sara serves as Board Chair of the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness Orlando Affiliate and is actively involved in the recovery community. 

Sara's experience battling an eating disorder has fueled a drive to promote awareness and eliminate stigma surrounding mental health issues and those affected. 

Sara is a Florida native living in Orlando, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration from The University of Central Florida.


Jaimee Spector, CFRE

Treasurer

Jaimee Spector, CFRE, brings to the board a decade of experience in nonprofit development and management. Her background includes direct marketing, traditional and digital communications, event planning, annual giving, major gifts, grant development, strategic planning, volunteer management, and board development.

She currently works for Miami Waterkeeper as the Director of Advancement & Donor Impact, where she leads the development and execution of fundraising and marketing initiatives. Jaimee also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Communication, teaching writing and public speaking to undergraduate college students, and at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship, co-teaching financial management and sustainability to graduate students.

Jaimee earned her master's in management with a specialization in leadership from the University of Miami, her master's in communications from Florida State University, and her bachelor's in communications from the University of Miami.

In her free time, Jaimee enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and FaceTiming with her niece and three nephews, who all live in New York.
