Bio

A long time resident of Orlando, Kelly is a Florida native with many years of experience working in the Central Florida community. Kelly has a bachelor of science from Florida State University and is pursuing her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College.  Kelly was drawn to pursue her desire to help others through therapy for personal reasons that compelled her to do so. Of special interest, Kelly is passionate about women’s issues, marital and couples issues (including blending families as spouses and parents), professional growth and development, workplace dynamics and stress, as well as helping individuals who are struggling with identity, life purpose and meaning.  Kelly is also an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and an active advocate. She has studied and is training in areas such as multicultural counseling, crisis intervention, career and lifestyle counseling, social justice and human sexuality . Kelly’s counseling pre-practicum studies were fulfilled at New Hope for Kids and Zebra Coalition. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and has studied Baker Act & Suicide Prevention Training and Psychological First Aid Training.  She expects to graduate in Fall of 2020.

Kelly started her career as a sales and marketing representative for the Olympic Games.  Continuing her experience in the marketing profession, Kelly became the assistant director of marketing for a professional sports franchise for several years.  Kelly was also the vice president of brand management and marketing at two privately held investment companies where she developed, implemented and enforced brand strategy and integration for a portfolio of companies in various sectors, such as finance, sports, restaurants, life sciences and real estate.  Kelly is the CMO and principal of a marketing agency.

Kelly cares deeply about our community, serving for various boards, committees, and volunteer organizations, including Orlando Economic Partnership Board of Directors, the onePULSE Foundation Executive Board of Trustees, and past board chairman for UCP of Central Florida. She is also a wife and mother to a blended family of four amazing kids. In her free time, Kelly likes to travel, exercise, bond with friends and family, and watch sporting events and documentaries.
