Originally from South Florida, Nicole earned both her BA in Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. After graduating from undergrad, she began her career with the Department of Children and Families where she worked to unify children with their parents after being separated due to dependency related issues. From there, she served in various mental health agencies conducting group therapy and providing case management. While obtaining her masters, Nicole completed her general practicum at South County Mental Health Center, assessing clients upon intake into the inpatient unit. She completed her advanced practicum at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, where she guided clients through all phases of the detox stage of their treatment program. Six months prior to completing her masters, Nicole began working as Lead Therapist with a small, private substance abuse treatment facility. There, she provided individual, group and family therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Nicole is an advocate for mental health, passionate about eliminating the stigma that often surrounds the topic. She prioritizes creating a safe space for clients to work with her to achieve healing. Her holistic approach to therapy allows her to work successfully with a variety of issues to help clients attain their goals. She now specializes in working with individuals, couples and families, including children, adolescents and adults.
Nicole recently moved to Central Florida with her husband, two sons and their dog. Outside of spending time with her family, she enjoys all things Disney, indoor cycling and documentaries.
